Why You Should get it: So often we complain about being blocked out of certain genres or calling genres “white folks’ stuff”.  It simply isn’t the case people.  Black voices are in the speculative fiction genre across the globe.  How many Africans in the diaspora wish to connect back to their roots?  Well, this collection of stories draws on the rich culture traditions of the continent.  It is true of Africans across the globe that whenever we step up to the plate that we bring something unique.  Us getting involved in science fiction, fantasy, magical realism etc. is no different.   Check this out.
